Purim Party Saturday evening, February 27, 9:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Last year we had almost 500 people (no exaggeration!) at our wild klezmer dance party celebrating Purim. This year we are featuring two bands; Kelzmer Plus! - led by Henry Sapoznik, Peter Sokolow and Sid Beckerman and a popular rock-n-roll band, Sami Feldman & the Bluesberry Jam. Memorial Day Weekend Friday, May 28 - Monday, May 31 - at Camp Ramah in the Berkshires. Wilderness First Aid - Sundays, December 12 & 19, 8:45am - 5:30pm at Ansche Chesed. This 16-hour program covers Wilderness vs. Urban First-Aid, Patient Assessment System, Shock & Bleeding, Soft Tissue Injuries & Burns, Musculoskeletal Injuries & Dislocations, Cold Injuries, Heat & Hydration, Lightning, and Allergic Reactions. Recognized by the American Camping Association, US Coast Guard, and various guides' licensing boards as meeting their first aid requirement. Taught by a SOLO certified instructor. The Millennial Shabbat - Friday evening, December 31, 7:00pm - ? at Ansche Chesed. What are you doing on this very unique Shabbat? Join Ansche Chesed for a very delicious and entertaining evening featuring great food (Shabbat dinner), an a capella singing group, a very very funny Improv group, a comedy skit, Israeli dancing, juggling lessons, a late night dessert buffet and much much more. The price for the entire evening is $70. If you wish to come just for the entertainment (starting at 9:00 pm) and late night dessert buffet and champagne then the price is only $36.
