Reverse Tashlich

Each year during Tashlich, we cast our "sins" into the Hudson River. Join us this year for the "6th Annual Reverse Tashlich," where we will do the opposite and remove debris from the Hudson River Greenway, along Riverside Park -- our own local shore line. Please join AC for a special screening of the new film Golda, starring Helen Mirren, portraying Israel's leader during the Yom Kippur War at Look Cinemas (where Ziv has an internship), this coming Sunday. Shabbat Shuva Guest Teacher: “SORRY, SORRY, SORRY: The Case for Good Apologies” with author Marjorie Ingall

In honor of Shabbat Shuva, the shabbat between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, Marjorie Ingall will deliver the dvar torah in the Sanctuary, and then during Kiddush she will teach about "good apologies." If you plan to join us for Kiddush, please consider making a donation to the AC Kiddush Fund so we can continue to nourish our bodies and souls each Shabbat. Terrible apologies are the worst. We’ve all been on the receiving end of a few, and we’ve all witnessed horrible, excuse-laden public apologies go viral. Why is it so…
