Mission Statement:
Yaldaynu aims to provide a warm, nurturing environment for children, which encourages intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.

Parents are very involved in this process at Yaldaynu, a child and family centered neighborhood school, where friendships between families continue long after children have moved on. The Hebrew word Yaldaynu ("our children") reflects the school's philosophy: to cultivate a Jewish identity and Jewish values in a relaxed, developmentally appropriate way. Children are introduced to Shabbat, the Jewish holidays, and Israel through art, music, stories, and cooking. They also gain a sense of community and Jewish heritage when the school brings families together to celebrate the holidays.

Yaldaynu currently had three classrooms, with 4 programs for children ages 2 - 5 years.
The class hours are 8:30 a.m-12:30 p.m; 9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.; and 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

There are currently 45 children enrolled in our school (2003 - 2004 school year).

Yaldaynu holds workshops with Ansche Chesed throughout the year, including a Hanukkah and Passover Family Workshop.

We look forward to hearing from you!
