Families with Russian-speaking members are invited to participate in an array of programs and classes, gatherings and concerts that will enrich your life and help you and your family forge a stronger Jewish connection through art, drama, and music. Held at Ansche Chesed on the West Side and Shaaray Tefila on the East Side.

To celebrate the launch of their COJECO BluePrint Fellowship Alumni project, alumni Zisl Slepovitch, Inna Barmash and Irina Sheynfeld are partnering with the Firebird/JAR-Ptitsa project to bring Russian-Jewish families together for a community Havdalah, musical performance, and workshops aimed at fostering family traditions around celebrating Shabbat.  The project will consist of a website featuring musical recordings and artwork and a printable toolkit for educators and parents to be used as a starting point in building their own traditions of unplugging and reconnecting to their family and community on the day of rest. 

Cost is $10/individual or $20 for a family of 3 or more in advance. $30/family at the door.
