Shabbat Morning Services in the Sanctuary Begin at 9:45 am
Minyan M'at, West Side Minyan, and Minyan Rimonim Begin at 10:00 am

The Sanctuary Service, led by Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky, Hazzan Natasha Hirschhorn, and Minyan members, meets weekly, as does Minyan M’at, a davening community established in the early 1980s.

Minyan Rimonim meets on the first and third Shabbat of each month, and the West Side Minyan meets on the second and fourth Shabbat of each month. Our Learner’s Service provides the opportunity to deepen one’s understanding of the words, music, and traditions of the synagogue.

All of Ansche Chesed’s prayer communities join together for Shabbat morning services on several occasions throughout the year. All minyanim are egalitarian, with men and women participating equally, and all encourage their members to share responsibility for the service. Members have the opportunity to improve their synagogue and leadership skills if they wish, and to get to know each other at the regular kiddush following services.

Most newcomers to Ansche Chesed on Shabbat morning first attend the Sanctuary Service.

We are glad to welcome you there! We encourage you also to sample the various prayer opportunities Ansche Chesed has to offer, so you can meet more of the community and find the best service for you.
