SUMMARY:Weekly Mental Health Check-In
DESCRIPTION:The Covid crisis is intensifying the normal stress many people feel\, in ways both practical and emotional\, we at AC would like to provide a weekly virtual forum to discuss mental health issues related to the Covid-19 crises.\n\n\nAC member Dr. Ken Gorfinkle will lead a weekly\, one-hour Zoom-based conversation answering your questions and addressing topics including: dealing with the isolation; responding to the demands of young children and elderly parents; and the challenges of sustaining loving relationships under isolation.\nIf you would like to submit a question or discussion topic in advance of the meeting\, please write to David Shapiro\, who will help Ken plan the sessions.\n\nKen has been a member of our community for many years. He and his wife Doris Ulendorff run Common Sense Therapy\, where they work with adults and children with anxiety issues as well as acute and chronic medical conditions. Ken has lengthy experience in practice and teaching at Columbia University and New York-Presbyterian Hospital.\nJOIN VIA ZOOM
