DESCRIPTION:Please join us in the Multi-Purpose Room outside Hirsch Hall after services\, approximately 12:30 pm\, to meet Ruby and Hagit Chen\, the parents of Itay Chen z’l\, who was killed while serving in the IDF on October 7. \nItay\, a dual US-Israeli citizen\, was initially believed to have been taken hostage. Subsequently\, the army determined that he had been killed\, and that Hamas was holding his remains. The Chens are in America to attend the Democratic convention\, to advocate for the release of hostages and their remains\, and to advocate for a cease-fire. \nAfter services\, please take Kiddush food and join us to hear their talk.
