Big Kids’ Service (children in Grade 3 through pre-bar/bat mitzvah)

This service delves into the structure and purpose of tefillot (prayers) and parshah (Torah portion). As they watch each other participate, children develop a feeling of community.

Yigdal Service (children preschool-age through Grade 2)

This service exposes children to a greater number of Shabbat tefillot (prayers) than are presented in the Mishpachah Service. Boys and girls are encouraged to help lead the prayers.

PASSOVER STORIES WITH STORYTELLER PENINNAH SCHRAM

Join Ansche Chesed Family Programs, as we prepare for Passover, with master storyteller, Peninnah Schram. Peninnah will share stories of miracles and freedom during a lively, family-friendly Kabbalat Shabbat service, and will also join us for Shabbat dinner - as we infuse our Shabbat tables with our own family stories and traditions.
