Support Ansche Chesed

Ansche Chesed is spiritual home to more than 600 households and the largest Conservative synagogue on the Upper West Side. Our programs enrich the lives of countless New Yorkers.

The Ansche Chesed community is filled with learning, prayer, celebration and social action. Stop by any morning to be part of our daily minyan. Visit any weekday and see children learning about Torah and Jewish life. Drop in any evening to learn from Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky and others during one of our many classes. Join us to celebrate Shabbat and the holidays. Help us comfort mourners, visit the sick, collect food for the hungry, and care for the homeless at our men’s shelter, which operates 365 days a year.

Membership dues cover only 46 percent of our costs so we rely on you to make sure Ansche Chesed remains a vibrant center of Jewish life, filled with people passionate about Torah and tradition, and dedicated to building the world through deeds of kindness.
