Shirei Chesed Community Chorus

Our 4-part chorus brings together almost 50 lovers of choral singing from both Ansche Chesed and the wider Jewish community. Talmud Study with Rabbi Kalmanofsky

This year in Wednesday night Talmud we will study the tenth chapter of Tractate Yevamot. In this chapter, the Talmud wrestles with "the Return of Martin Guerre." What happens when a woman remarries after a spouse's supposed death, only to discover that the reports of his demise were greatly exaggerated? The textual, ethical and literary challenges elicited profound responses from centuries of interpreters, including Shai Agnon, the modernist writer who wove a novella from this material.

Yigdal Service (Kindergarten through Grade 2)
