Minyan M’at
Minyan M’at is an independent, traditional, egalitarian community within Ansche Chesed. Now more than 30 years old, our group of over 150 households comes together to daven (pray), to learn, to celebrate and to sustain each other.

Let’s light up the night with a Glow in the Dark Chanukah Party! Experience the GLOW during a communal Chanukah candle lighting. Eat, sing and ‘glow in the dark’ activities! Activities geared for ages 5-11 Latkes will be served. In partnership with Camp Ramah. Register Registration preferred, walk-ins welcome. $10 per kid, free for parents.

Morning Minyan is held in person in the Chapel on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, and on Rosh Chodesh and Civil Holidays. Minyan begins at at 7:30am on weekdays and at 8:30am on Sundays and Civil Holidays. Services are also available virtually via Zoom on all days the minyan meets. In this painting and collage workshop series, led by artist Amy Tenenouser, participants will be introduced to a range of artists and art historical periods while exploring painting and collage through memory, reflection, and Jewish spiritual ideas and culture. Drawing inspiration from still life set-ups and themes that spark imagination and personal life stories, participants will begin to build the foundation for their own unique form of creative expression. In this class we will review Hebrew letters and decoding rules with experienced and skilled teacher Nadav Wiesel, for faster and smoother reading of prayerbook and biblical Hebrew. Using authentic biblical texts, we will learn fundamental Hebrew vocabulary and grammar to deepen your understanding of biblical Hebrew. Class is appropriate for people with basic Hebrew knowledge - we start with Aleph-bet. Interested in Modern Hebrew? We also offer a course where you can learn that.
