AC’s Community Second Seder
Thursday, April 2 at 7pm in Hirsch Hall
This year consider joining us for an engaging participatory intergenerational Seder celebration. Rich in songs in many languages, rooted in tradition, highlighting and weaving together unique stories and experiences of everyone around the table. No one leaves a stranger!
“Let all who are hungry come and eat.” — Our seder is open to AC members and non-members, adults and children.

To designate Rabbi Kalmanofsky to sell your chametz, please fill out our online form by Wednesday, April 1 at 10am. Contact the AC Office with any questions.

Hametzfest Family Shabbat Dinner
Friday, March 27
Kabbalat Shabbat Service at 5:30pm | Dinner at 6:15pm
Let us take care of Shabbat dinner the week before Passover! Families with kids are invited to join us for a participatory Family Kabbalat Shabbat Service followed by dinner. There will also be an open gym for kids.

To get ready for Passover, please bring your Kashrut questions and your pots and pans. We’ll help you prepare for the feast of freedom by boiling away the chametz.

Enjoy an unforgettable evening of music, food, and tradition, featuring the enchanting sounds of Layali El Andalus. Indulge in a rich and colorful Mimouna table, overflowing with handmade sweets, traditional mufletas, and refreshing Moroccan mint tea.

Layali El Andalus breathes new life into the musical traditions of Morocco, Andalusia, North Africa, and the Middle East. Founded by Moroccan-born musician Rachid Halihal (singer, oud, violin.) Layali El Andalus has graced prestigious music festivals and concert stages across the United States and abroad, with notable performances at MoMA and Lincoln Center.
Organized by the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan in partnership with Ansche Chesed, the Jewish Community Relations Council of New York, the American Sephardi Federation, and the Sephardic Mizrahi Q Network.
