Antisemitism in Moments of Crisis, with Aryeh Tuchman

Sun, November 12, 2023 at 10:00 am

Anti-Semitism and hate crimes in America were already a worsening problem before the war between Israel and Hamas. Now both White Supremacy and the Israel conflict reverberate strongly, stoking old hatreds and prompting fear and anxiety among American Jews.

Stick around after Morning Minyan for a light brunch and a presentation by Aryeh Tuchman, director of the ADL’s Center on Extremism, who will share an inside perspective on antisemitism in the current moment.

Aryeh Tuchman is the Director of ADL’s Center on Extremism, where his team monitors and responds to antisemitism and extremism across the country. He is a specialist on Holocaust denial, antisemitic conspiracy theories, anti-Zionism, and attacks on the history and theology of Judaism. He also worked for The Samuel Bronfman Foundation. He has an MA in medieval Jewish history from Yeshiva University and is an ordained rabbi.
