Hevra Kadisha Meeting
Ansche Chesed, our “Community of Kindness,” has an admirable history of kindness to the deceased, enacted through our Hevra Kadisha, the “Holy Society” of people who volunteer to wash and prepare people’s bodies for burial. Surely, this is not the easiest mitzvah to perform, but it is one of the noblest. Reverse Tashlich
Each year during Tashlich, we cast our "sins" into the Hudson River. Join us this year for the "6th Annual Reverse Tashlich," where we will do the opposite and remove debris from the Hudson River Greenway, along Riverside Park -- our own local shore line. Family Volunteer Morning at West Side Campaign Against Hunger

Young Professionals: Volunteer at West Side Campaign Against Hunger
AC young professionals, please join us for a meaningful evening of volunteering at WSCAH, an organization that has been providing New Yorkers with access to healthy food for 45 years. In the last year alone, WSCAH delivered meals to over 110,000 people across all five boroughs.
