Kabbalat Shabbat on the Roof

I have come to my garden, my one, my bride... Friday night, June 2 we invite you to join us for a Kabbalat Shabbat service devoted to romance. June remains the most popular month for weddings (at least according to Wikipedia), so to begin the month, Hazzan Hirschhorn and Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky have crafted a service from the Bible's love poem, Song of Songs, to celebrate human companionship. Kabbalat Shabbat and Oneg on the Roof

In honor of the Congregation trip to Poland, our Friday night davening and oneg will come with a Polish flavor. The Kabbalat Shabbat and Maariv prayers will be led by a Warsaw born vocalist Channah Silverman, who is a Cantorial Student at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
