Tu B’Shevat Winter Tree Walk in Central Park
Celebrate Tu B'Shevat with Ansche Chesed in a new way this year! Join "AC alum" Levi O'Brien on a walk in Central Park to explore tree diversity in our own neighborhood. He will guide us in winter tree identification and discuss the ecology, historical and cultural relevance of the species encountered. Why should fall foliage and spring blossoms get all the glory?! Family Shemini Atzeret Nature Walk and Shacharit
Parents and children are invited to join us for a Shemini Atzeret nature walk in Central Park led by Jewish environmental educator, farmer, and storyteller Jacob Kose. We’ll follow the water around the north woods and discuss how Shemini Atzeret, the last day of Sukkot, is rooted in nature’s ancient rhythms. RSVP’s requested, walk-ins welcome.

Aviv / Spring Nature Walk Shacharit
Parents and children are invited to join us for an aviv / spring nature walk in Central Park led by Jewish environmental educator, farmer, and storyteller Jacob Kose and Rabbi Yael Hammerman. We’ll follow the water around the north woods and note how this holy ground has changed since we visited last in October, on Shemini Atzeret.
